I promise I'm not lost nor am I missing. Nope, I suppose once you hit your one-year mark in a new city you decide to throw out everything that once was your normal routine and try to mix it up a bit. Yup, I've moved into a new place and couldn't be happier. I've also moved into a place without the internet and oddly enough I haven't missed my monthly internet bill or those cute little connection bars. I've face one of my fears (fear similar to ordering meat from a deli counter) and actually went into a running store courtesy of my friend Nicole's advice and purchased a pair of running shoes that are magic > I've run more miles than I ever thought possible. I've been soooooooooooooo busy at work that I've brought work home and crossed my fingers I could stay ahead of the game. I've found a new love for O.P.I. glitter nail polish and can't stop painting. I've dressed up my room with an amazing DYI project (post to come). I've dropped some significant pesos on my new favorite makeup brand ... thank you NARS. I've fallen in love with Baltimore and the weather that has showered us with cool breezes and zero % of humidity. I've realized Facebook isn't as cool as I once thought it was. I've traveled to Georgetown with Mike and now trying to pick my dream home out of 20+ favorites. AND I've survived my very first earthquake (I'll take once as being enough)!
So in the midst of my face being printed on a milk carton, I've been loving life to its fullest and feel bad that I've neglected blogging. But all is well, I'm hoping I can convince the neighbors moving across the hall to split the internet, I'm trying to take pictures of all of these recent happenings, I'm running my new kicks all over my neighborhood, I'm loving that it's almost "Race" season in the Komen world, I'm beyond thrilled it's almost fall, I couldn't be happier that I took a leap of faith to move closer to Mike and now uncovering what I love most about Baltimore, and I'm working at getting back on track come September 1st! Watch out world :)
Until I can get myself organized, the internet situation figured out, and possibly my 50-year-plan etched in stone, please know I am thinking about you and really do miss typing my days away.
